Hrvatski Telekom (Reuters: HT.ZA; Bloomberg: HTRA CZ), Croatia's leading telecommunications provider, announces that Mr. Mark Nierwetberg, a Member of the Supervisory Board and Deutsche Telekom AG’s representative on the Supervisory Board of Hrvatski Telekom d.d. (the Company), has resigned his membership of the Supervisory Board with effect from the closing of the first regular General Assembly of the Company in the year 2016.
Mr. Nierwetberg was elected as Supervisory Board member of the Company in 2013, and has been working for Deutsche Telekom in several managerial positions since 2002. His main focus has been in Corporate Communications as Head of Corporate Issues, responsible for communication regarding regulation, data privacy, compliance and crisis communication.
Pursuant to the Company’s Articles of Association, the Supervisory Board consists of nine members. Eight members are elected by the General Assembly and one is appointed by the Company’s employees.
