In the Republic of Croatia, protection of personal data in electronic communications is primarily regulated by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Electronic Communications Act.
In addition to complying with these and other applicable regulations, Hrvatski Telekom, as part of the Deutsche Telekom Group, applies additional corporate rules and procedures, including Binding Corporate Rules for the Protection of Personal Rights in the Processing of Personal Data within the Deutsche Telekom Group.
Binding Corporate Rules Privacy defines the conduct of Hrvatski Telekom or, respectively, the employees of Hrvatski Telekom in the processing of personal data of customers, shareholders, employees and partners, as well as the rights of these persons to the protection of their personal data. Binding Corporate Rules Privacy is aligned with requirements set forth in Croatian regulations; it aims to create a consistent and high level of personal data protection within the Deutsche Telekom Group that goes beyond statutory obligations.
