Hrvatski Telekom wins sustainability award
At the Sustainable Development Conference, organized by the Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development (HRPSOR), awards for the most successful companies in implementing socially responsible practices were presented as part of the Croatian Sustainability Index – HRIO.
HRIO analyzes business practices that include community relations, corporate governance, workplace environment, environmental protection, and human and child rights. Its consistent improvement of sustainable and socially responsible practices has led to Hrvatski Telekom winning the HRIO award for the fourth consecutive year.
The HRIO methodology aligns with the latest European directives, global standards, and Sustainable Development Goals.
"We are proud to have been recognized for our sustainable development results and activities for the fourth consecutive year, particularly for our contributions to the community that holds a crucial place in our strategy and daily operations. With Tools for modern times, the first science-based program for preventing risky behavior among children online, The call you have to take, which led to double the collection and responsible disposal of small electronic waste; and Generations Together, a digital education program for nursing homes, we have addressed important social issues, fostering positive changes in digital inclusion, environmental protection, and resource efficiency," said Igor Vukasović, Director of Corporate Communications at Hrvatski Telekom.
