Important information for customers of Hrvatski Telekom
NETWORK
We have already taken a number of measures to ease the new situation for our business and residential customers so from Monday, March 16, all users with a subscription or prepaid, that is, students using the School for Life program, get free of charge access for the duration of remote classes.
All private subscribers will get 15 free gigabytes of traffic available in the next 30 days, while prepaid users will have 2 gigabytes available for free.
Last week we gave business customers an additional 50 gigabytes of traffic, which they can use over seven days, to facilitate remote business and work from home. After that, all business customers will receive an additional 15 gigabytes of traffic over the next 30 days as well. Those business customers who already use the Flat Business Tariff have been provided with a MAXtv To Go service for free. (* When they use 15 GB, or after 30 days, they will receive a deactivation message. If they already have the Internet 50 GB promo option activated for 7 days, the traffic from that option will be spent first, followed by the additional 15 GB.)
All users of MAXtv service up to April 1, and longer if needed, can use the Recorder free of charge, which enables recording and viewing of the most important informative and educational content up to 7 days back and free viewing of exclusive Hollywood premieres, hit shows, films, and cartoons of European and regional productions on Pickbox NOW and RTL Play Premium video bundles. We also remind that Hrvatski Telekom also offers instrukcije.hr service, which helps students through video tutorials in mastering mathematics for elementary and secondary school. All video tutorials were made in line with the school curriculum. With instrukcije.hr every student can practice and learn how to solve easier or more complex math problems for each grade. The tutorials are available to anyone at no extra charge at the MAXtv Video Store and through the MAXtv To Go service.
WORK FROM HOME
In the previous period, Hrvatski Telekom has formed a Crisis Coordination Team that, based on the instructions by competent epidemiologists, has implemented all necessary safety measures related to daily work. As a company of strategic importance to our country, HT has a responsibility to ensure continuity of operation. It is our responsibility to all employees, the company, and society as a whole. To further protect the health of our employees, it has been decided that all employees who can work from home and who have the consent of their superiors to work from home, to do so.
TECHNICIANS/CONTACT CENTER/POINTS OF SALE
Employees whose work cannot be done from home (frontline colleagues) continue to work in their workplaces (in HT premises, stores and in the field) because we must also take care of our customers and help our entire society to continue functioning in these challenging times as well - and ensuring a stable and reliable communication service is a priority. Employees who continue to work in HT premises will have maximum health protection while performing their tasks (more frequent cleaning, disinfection and other necessary hygiene conditions).
For technicians whose work involves fieldwork, adequate quantities of disinfectants, latex gloves and shoe covers are provided, and additional quantities of face masks have been ordered and will be distributed this week.
There are notices at all points of sale in which users are requested to take care of the hygiene rules while they are on the premises. If our employees/staff notice that users are not complying with the rules or have visible symptoms that may be consistent with the symptoms of the virus, they will be forced to remove users from the premises. We ask users to take these instructions very seriously because of the current health risk for all citizens. They are enforced for their safety and the safety of all other visitors and our employees and others. Also, disinfectants and latex gloves are provided for point-of-sale employees, while face masks will be distributed this week.
MY TELECOM APP
We are currently in a challenging period where the solidarity of the entire society is needed. As a company, we have done everything we can to ensure that we continue to work and provide customer service. However, to alleviate the challenges in the continued operation of the Contact Center, we urge all users to install and use the My Telecom app, which provides them with many benefits. With the app, users can:
- track expenses, view paid and due bills, and pay quickly and easily with no extra charge
- Top-up vouchers for themselves and others, directly from the directory or repeat the previous top-up
- track consumption of options, internet, minutes
- report interferences, monitor resolution status
- monitor service activation and change of packages and tariffs
- activate and deactivate options and activate 1 GB for free every month
