14th ZagrebDox, International Documentary Film Festival, lasts until 4 March covering screening of around 120 films
This year, MAXtv Filmofeel platform will yet again support and follow the major Croatian film festivals. Traditionally, the film festival tour commences with ZagrebDox International Documentary Film Festival, which was ceremonially opened on Sunday, 25 February 2018, at 20:00 at Kaptol Boutique Cinema in Kaptol Centre. The festival was opened with the film entitled ''Over the Limit'', that tells a dramatic story about the efforts of a Russian gymnast Margarita Mamun on her way towards winning the gold medal at the Olympic Games. Variety referred to the film as ''enchanting Black Swan of sports documentaries''.
After a three-day intro and warm-up for ZagrebDox, we will see 125 exciting documentaries in 14 programmes.
ZagrebDox features both the international and regional competition, and the films will have the opportunity to win a large number of awards. Concerning the most important award for every film, HT Audience Award, the visitors will be able to vote through a leaflet and/or at www.hrvatskitelekom.hr/filmofeel and win valuable prizes.
