Team Tartle are three girls, whose interactive fairy tale project won yesterday the second in Hack It! hackathon organized by Hrvatski Telekom and DT's startup accelerator hub: raum.
The winning team, who presented the interactive fairy tale for younger age, won the main prize of HRK 30,000 and the ability to access DT's start-up accelerator. The Team Tartle application, behind which are Maja Subotić Šušak, Andreja Smetko, and Mirela Ćosić, uses an extended reality to communicate with children via the smartphone. It "listens" and, depending on the keywords in the environment, creates virtual objects and characters. The main criteria for selecting the winner were the innovation and development of the idea and its market potential. When designing the idea, competitors were able to use the state-of-the-art technology of today like virtual and augmented reality.
