Dobra Hrvatska – business initiative for affirmation of socially responsible business and sustainable development, in partnership with the Croatian Employers' Association as a representative of the Global Compact Network in Croatia, conducted in July and August this year a survey of 203 companies on "Understanding and Implementing CSR Communications on the Official Web Site of companies". Research results show that an increasing number of Croatian companies are continuously investing in the visibility of socially responsible business and sustainability - through digital media.
The aim of the research was to see how many Croatian companies, and with which quality, communicate their CSR practices and sustainability through their own official websites, and how much attention they pay to the growth of their digital CSR visibility. It is a project that at national level aimed to encourage companies to present more their CSR practice and dedication in this area, as it generates a 'green' reputation and a collective influence of the company on further awareness of the inevitability of CSR and sustainability topic.
On that occasion, "Sjaj" (Glow) awards were given to companies for the visibility and affirmation of socially responsible business and sustainability in the company's digital media. The aim of the assignment is to validate good digital practice and to highlight prominent companies and encourage others to use various good experiences and improve their own business.
Hrvatski Telekom is one of the ten Croatian Companies recognized for their positive practices, and Nina Išek Međugorac, the Director of Corporate Communications of Hrvatski Telekom took the award on behalf of Hrvatski Telekom. On that occasion she emphasized the importance Hrvatski Telekom gives to systematic planning and communication of socially responsible activities.
