Hrvatski Telekom is the main sponsor of the second season of The Voice – The Most Beautiful Voice of Croatia TV show, which will be broadcast on the Croatian National Television from 23 January. Thanks to the technical support of HT, this is an exclusive project in Croatia and, in its second season, it offers to its fans not only the traditional television broadcasting, but the greatest variety of multimedia contents on the official web pages and social networks.
The constant and mass communication taking place on digital platforms between the show and its numerous viewers, regardless of the number of devices simultaneously connected to the Internet, is enabled by HT fibre optic and 4G mobile networks, which provide the users with the fastest Internet access in Croatia. Last season, the live broadcasts were watched by means of the livestream by 1500 viewers per show, and the total number of views of the You Tube video content exceeded 26 million by the end of the season. This year again, the viewers will be able to enjoy performances of contestants on their TVs, but they will also be able to share the content with their friends, comment, or like it on social networks on the “other screen” at the same time. This season’s novelty of The Voice show is a mobile game app available on iOS and Android mobile handsets, which offers the users an opportunity to win 13 Samsung Galaxy A3 or Samsung Galaxy S6 32 GB smartphones.
As for the popularity of the show on digital channels, the numbers speak for themselves: in the first seasons the Facebook page received more than 150,000 likes, there were more than 25 million views on the YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/TheVoiceHRT, almost half a million visits to the web page http://voice.hrt.hr/ of the show, with an average engagement per viewer of 400 likes, comments, and shares, which is two and a half times more than the average. All this was possible thanks to the superfast internet of Hrvatski Telekom.
“HT has already used the first season of this show to position itself as a service provider which offers the fastest Internet. In the second season, all our users will have the opportunity to convince themselves that we have done an additional technological step forward and that the top entertainment content offered by The Voice show via HT is available even more, faster, and further”, said Sanja Milinović, Director of the Go-to Market Department of Hrvatski Telekom.
In the second season, The Voice show will gather new contestants, only one of whom will earn the title of the most beautiful voice of Croatia and sign a contract with the Universal Music Croatia music company. Only the contestants with a true talent managed to pass the preselection procedure, and the most successful among them earned their opportunity to perform before the four mentors. In the second season, the mentors will again be as follows: Tony Cetinski, Jacques Houdek, Indira Levak, and Ivan Dečak. The hosts will be Iva Šulentić and Ivan Vukušić.
