Alen Selimbegović will take over management of the Applications Development and Integration Division and join the management team of Combis. During his career, Alen has demonstrated extensive technical and business expertise based on rich, long-time IT experience in the financial industry. Over the last two years, he has held the position of IT Director in Intesa Sanpaolo Card.
Alen's business expertise is supported by the fact that over the last seven years he has built his career at management positions in PBZ American Express, PBZ Card and finally in Intesa Sanpaolo Card. Experience in the synergy of financial sector, credit card business and IT industry has helped him achieve excellence in technical and business expertise which will certainly be helpful in the future development of application solutions in Combis.
He was born in 1971. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in 1995 and continued education in Edinburgh, where he got MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. He has a rich experience as guest lecturer in a number of institutions, both in Croatia and abroad.
- I want the regional market to recognize the segment of application business, for which I am responsible, as the leading business segment in Combis. It means that the segment of application development should reflect all qualities of Combis on the one hand, and convey this positive image beyond the current presence of Combis on the other. Finally, I want to position Combis as an essential factor on the application market. – said Selimbegović.
Thanks to many years of work in large corporate structures, Alen has learned a lot about the principles of good team and project coordination, business decision-making and organizational skills, which will certainly additionally enhance the quality of the existing Combis team.
