Hrvatski Telekom launches an offering of Apple and Samsung devices at very attractive prices

Hrvatski Telekom launches an offering of Apple and Samsung devices at very attractive prices


At the beginning of July, Hrvatski Telekom, in cooperation with the largest smartphone manufacturers, Apple and Samsung, launched the offer of their flagship devices at very attractive prices.

Smartphone technology is constantly advancing, and because they are powerful, versatile devices like computers, their prices are also increasing.

In May, HT recognized the problem and launched a new payment model, Pay Less and Replace, in which the user pays less for the device in 24 installments (30-40 percent less for an installment). After the period of use, the device, if in preserved condition, is returned without further costs, and the user can take a new one. If they want to keep it for themselves, they pay the remaining value (30-40 percent of the device's price) as a 25th installment.

In addition, to support ESG initiatives and ensure affordability, Hrvatski Telekom offers collection and purchase of old phones and rewards with additional discounts on new devices.

For example, a user can buy an iPhone 15 for only €9.99/month with the following model: they bring their used iPhone 13 128 GB, now almost three years old, and it is time for a replacement. It is redeemed as follows:

  • the purchase price is up to 236 euros for a well-kept device
  • additionally, as an incentive for the ecological disposal of used devices, HT gives every user a promotional discount of an additional 120 euros for the price of a new device
  • if the user also decides on the Pay Less and Replace model, the estimated value of the device after 24 months is 347.15 euros, which further reduces the monthly installment
  • in this way, with the purchase of the old iPhone 13 of 128 GB (236 euros), an additional discount (120 euros), and the rest of the value with the Pay Less and Replace model (347.15 euros), we arrive at a monthly installment of 9.99 €/month, instead of the full installment of €38.99/month on the Unlimited GB tariff (with payment in 24 monthly installments)
