Croatian Telekom has the best mobile network in Croatia – confirmed by independent HAKOM measurement
Mobile network of Croatian Telekom has once again been recognized as the best in Croatia. This is confirmed by the results of an independent quality measurement of mobile networks in Croatia, organized by the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM). According to these results, Croatian Telekom's network achieved the highest scores in all categories.
Croatian Telekom's mobile network demonstrated superior performance in both voice and data services across cities, small towns, roads and highways, significantly outperforming the competition.
With a total score of 888.2 points, Hrvatski Telekom achieved the best overall score, 64 points more than the second-ranked telecom and 99.5 points more than the third. In voice services, >Croatian Telekom scored 17.2 points more than the second and 40.2 points more than the third telecom. In data traffic, Croatian Telekom outperformed the second telecom by 46.8 points and the third by 59.3 points.
Croatian Telekom also achieved the best results in all four major cities in all parameters for both voice and data traffic: in Zagreb (Croatian Telekom scored a total of 920 points; 70.6 points more than the second and 83.5 points more than the third telecom), in Split (HT scored 903.7 points; 60.2 points more than the second and 79.8 points more than the third telecom), in Rijeka (Croatian Telekom scored 899.3 points; 68.9 points more than the second and 103.8 points more than the third telecom), and in Osijek (Croatian Telekom scored 928.8 points; 54.5 points more than the second and 106 points more than the third telecom).
The Quality Measurement of Mobile Networks in Croatia covered 31 cities and approximately 5,000 kilometers of roads and highways in Croatia. It was conducted during February and March of this year by the specialized company Commsquare Hellas Ltd., the testing included areas inhabited by about two million people, meaning over 50% of the total population. The maximum possible score was 1,000 points, with 600 points for data services and 400 points for voice services. Approximately 3,100 samples were collected for voice services and over 2,100 samples for each test scenario for data services per operator, using a drive test system.
