The Supervisory Board has appointed Krešimir Madunović as President of the Management Board of Iskon Internet<https://www.iskon.hr/>. The newly appointed President Madunović will assume office commencing from 1 June 2016, as a successor to Saša Kramar, who had been running the company for the last 14 years and is about to continue his career in Hrvatski Telekom as a Member of the Management Board and the Chief Operating Officer Business (COO Business).
Madunović has been an Iskon employee since 2013. Initially a member of Business Sales Department, he soon took over residential sales management, customer support, and marketing as well. He built his career in HPT Mostar, T-Mobile, and HT at challenging management functions.
During his office as Iskon CEO he will be focusing on strategic projects linked with innovative services originating from Iskon Lab, preserving the recognisable culture of both Iskon employees and users of their telecommunications services.
“Against the backdrop of a challenging environment of the Croatian telecommunications sector, Iskon has positioned itself as a leading alternative operator providing a significant contribution to the HT Group, by which it is wholly-owned. I can express my utmost satisfaction with the fact that, as President of the Management Board, I will continue the implementation of the ongoing projects, as well as initiate new projects aiming to introduce technologically advanced and useful services to meet our customers’ requirements. The recently presented solution for smart homes Iskon.Smarthome<http://smarthome.iskon.hr/> is only one of the initial innovations provided by Iskon Lab, created as a result of Iskon vision, the expertise of its employees, and keeping abreast with and predicting customers’ requirements. Our customers have already become used to our dynamics, and hence I will continue focusing on meeting customers’ expectations, primarily concerning the fast-growing need for superfast broadband,” noted Krešimir Madunović.
Born in 1974, Madunović graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb and completed his MBA studies at IEDC – Bled School of Management. He has adopted a democratic leadership style, encouraging bidirectional communication, team creativity, and interdepartmental co-operation.
