On April 2, two giants of Croatian pop music, Zlatan Stipišić Gibonni and Oliver Dragojević filled Zagreb's main square and gave a spectacular concert which was a true musical celebration. In addition to their timeless songs, the Magenta 1 concert audience was introduced to the new songs from their joint album 'Family'.
At the concert, which was a gift to people by Hrvatski Telekom (HT), there were more than 20,000 visitors who enjoyed this spectacle. The show started with a sensational 3D mapping of the former Singer building, which was the opening act for Gibonni and his band consisting of seasoned professionals, among other Nikša Bratoš, former member of Crvena jabuka and Hrvoje Rupčić from Cubismo.
The performance began with their hit "I'm doing the right thing", and the first culmination was the appearance of Oliver who performed three songs with Gibonni. Special guest Honey Larochelle, vocal soloist of Brand New Heavies was in charge of the parts in English, and the City choir Brodosplit joined in the finale. The show lasted two hours and the entire Ban Jelačić Square was branded in magenta, from thousands of balloons to buildings' facades. Ivan Šarić was the Master of the Ceremony of this unforgettable show.
