- The Dynatrace tool provides proactive problem resolution, along with automated prevention
- Successful implementation of the monitoring project will form the basis also for the new “End2End SLA” ICT service.
Hrvatski Telekom has successfully completed the implementation project for the Compuware-Dynatrace tool that enables comprehensive proactive service and application performance monitoring in its data centres in Zagreb and Varaždin, by employing partner solutions. The tool provides proactive monitoring and problem resolution prior to customer calls, along with fully automated prevention. This way, HT is substantially improving the quality of its cloud ICT services.
Development of cloud services is a strategic determinant of Hrvatski Telekom. Hrvatski Telekom has been among the first operators in Europe to offer certain services, and the increasing number of customers bears witness to the undoubted quality.
Implementation of the project resulted in full End2End monitoring of the HT Cloud platform and related services from the customer point of view, as well as of the infrastructure, network elements, provisioning processes, and review of SLA parameters.
“We are aware of the fact that, in order to be competitive and successful on the market, we first have to identify and acknowledge our shortcomings, so that we can successfully resolve them. We recognised that there is plenty of room for improvement in the area of customer experience and, by implementation of this project, we made significant improvements in that regard and set up a more professional relation to our partners; at the same time, we substantially reduced the operational scope of activities in the area of maintenance,” explained Ratko Piškorić, Head of the Service Management Section.
This tool has been successfully employed by HT’s IT Sector for several years already; its extension to the ICT environment will enable performance monitoring of even a larger part of HT’s infrastructure and services. According to the Gartner survey, for the fifth year in a row, the Compuware-Dynatrace tool ranks among the best tools in the APM (Application Performance Management) segment. After successful global acquisition of the Dynatrac company, Compuware provided application analysis to the deepest level, including access to errors in the very design.
Successful implementation of the monitoring project will form the basis also for the new “End2End SLA” ICT service, which Hrvatski Telekom will offer to its customers in 2016.
