- On December 3, bonbon opened its first flagship store with a range of products and services which are not available in the usual retail stores selling telecommunications equipment
- The location of the first bonbon store is at Trg Drage Iblera 3
- The store interior was designed by McCann / Fahrenheit marketing agency and architects Mirta Vučić and Tea Tomić from the architectural design studio Stanica
The bonbon store in Zagreb, Trg Drage Iblera 3, is a space designed in a trendy way. Here, the customers can test all the available gadgets and applications and select their favourite accessories – with the possibility of combining discounts, just as with bonbon tariff plans. Before deciding on a purchase, the modern technology enables them to try out all the gadgets.
“We opened a store which aims to turn the purchase of telecommunications equipment into a pleasure. This is a revolutionary concept! The interactivity, professional assistance, information, and fun converge here in order to achieve one hundred percent customer satisfaction,” said Diego Perez Tenessa De Block, Director of bonbon.
The employees working at the store are educated to be able to answer every question and help customers in interaction and testing of all gadgets available in this flagship store. Special screens have been installed in the shop so that, besides testing the gadgets by themselves, the customers could see the evaluation marks provided by other customers, clarify any doubt, and get the best information and advice possible.
The flagship store offers additional discounts in case of combining hardware, such as phones, smartphones, and accessories. Such cumulative discounts can go as high as 20 percent. Since the additional discounts are not mutually exclusive, but summed up, the customers can additionally lower the price of hardware by switching to bonbon from some other telco provider. In relation to this, the interactive walls have been installed, which explain the combining of discounts and products.
The interior of the store was designed by McCann / Fahrenheit marketing agency and architects Mirta Vučić and Tea Tomoć from the architectural design studio Stanica. McCan / Fahrenheit, the agency responsible for the entire bonbon advertising, was also responsible for the graphic design and communications messages in the store, and the architects from the studio Stanica designed the space which reflects various experiences in precisely the same way in which people approach different mobile applications. These applications can be categorised into travel apps, music apps, video apps, and social network apps, so the new store is divided into areas called tubes, where the customers can try out different technologies or access specific information.
“The bonbon store is one step further from the warehouse or service centre concept and one step towards a one-on-one communication space, where the technology is used to enrich lives, and where the sales personnel does not only sell, but offers friendly advice as well. This is the reason why there are no counters, which are a usual barrier between the sellers and the customers, but the store is equipped with tables at which all sit together in order to find the best solution for our customers,” explained Marin Maras, Senior Sales Manager in bonbon.
The working hours of the bonbon store is from 8 to 20 on weekdays and from 8 to 15 on Saturdays.
