CAT B15Q – the world's first globally available rugged KitKat smartphone
CAT B15Q is known as the world's first globally available smartphone incorporating KitKat version of the Android operating system, and since it’s launching, it has become popular well beyond its targeted market segment and it has become the most sold CAT smartphone. Thanks to its features and abilities, B15Q easily meets all demands of daily tasks of its users – it helps them in achieving top results – but also their demands in terms of having fun.
B15Q is equipped with a fast quadcore processor, OS Android 4.4 KitKat and improved connectivity (Bluetooth 4.0); it also incorporates an HD camera with LED flash, a large loudspeaker and a dual noise-cancelling microphone, packed into a silver-anodized aluminum shell with the highly resistant rubber bumpers on the top and bottom of the phone. The rugged design includes features that are specialties of the CAT Phones company – which is the leading company of rugged mobile phones on the market – such as withstanding the force of a fall from a height of up to 6 feet on hard surfaces like concrete, being waterproof for up to 30 minutes at a depth of one meter (a bit over 3 feet), and withstanding the temperatures of -25 to +55 °C, without putting at risk the features which are expected from a smartphone.
Besides all the above specified, CAT B15Q comes with an interesting application called OCEARCH Global Shark Tracker, a global map which lets you observe the navigational pattern of sharks that have been tagged with satellite tracking technology in oceans of the world.
CAT B100 – a mobile phone for demanding working conditions and an active lifestyle
Waterproof, rough and suitable for noisy surroundings thanks to its “noise cancelling” microphone and a high-quality loudspeaker, CAT B100 is a mobile phone designed to endure hard “real-life” conditions. Furthermore, its large buttons make it ideal when using gloves. It is also dustproof.
Just as B15Q, B100 is also certified to withstand a 1.8-meter fall, keep water out for up to 30 minutes while submerged up to 1 meter, and operate in temperate extremes that range from -25 C to 55 °C. With a very impressive battery life of up to 10 hours talk time, B100 is ideal for everyone working in demanding working conditions or having an active life style.
