OliveBox application was created by OliveBytes company, the winner of the Business Wall of Fame contest in Croatia. The public cast their votes for the best applications, after which the expert jury selected the winner for Croatia.
So, from the very beginning, OliveBox was developed under the assumption that the application would be ideal for the product portfolio of telecom operators who were seeking ways to offer their customers additional services and benefits. The idea for OliveBox came out of the analysis of the small entrepreneurs' market, which was exceptionally competitive and requests a high level of persistence, and out of a need to provide those entrepreneurs with solutions at affordable prices, which would make their job easier by enabling them a systematic contact with their partners and clear business operations. The main guideline was creation of an application which would become the only software tool that small entrepreneurs needed. The application is designed so simple that it can be used by almost anybody, and, at the same time, it comprises all necessary functions and possibilities for more demanding customers. The goal was to create a modular and integrated application where every customer decided by himself/herself which module he/she will use and for how long, and where everything is cloud-based so that the customer would not need to worry about data and computers, as well as that the customer can use it wherever he/she wants, and that the application is very affordable to each customer in terms of its price.
OliveBox was created in order to free the customer from any burden so that he/she could fully concentrate on his/her job, while OliveBox takes care of everything else.
As a matter of fact, OliveBox is a product that will never be finished, it is a live thing that will grow and develop according to the market and customer needs. The additional booking and appointment booking functions have been added recently together with certain enhancements of the marketing module. Adding of many new functions and benefits is planned, since the final goal is to make OliveBox an “all in one” application which offers everything that the customer needs for proper implementation of business operations.
