Hrvatski Telekom proved once again that it sets the pace in mobile Internet development: in mid-February, HT doubled the maximum speed of its 4G network from 75 to 150 Mbit/s. The fastest Internet on the Croatian market provides the users of HT mobile services with a variety of new possibilities, which many of them tried on Petar Preradović Square (Cvjetni trg) in Zagreb, at the first 4G drone event in Croatia.

"Our 4G network with doubled maximum speed provides our customers with a variety of new services, but also with much more entertainment via live TV and HD video streaming, as well as online gaming. Faster mobile Internet is only the first investment of HT in this year, as we plan to also further invest in the fixed fibre optic network, so that all our customers can enjoy the benefits of fast Internet", said Nataša Rapaić, Member of the Management Board and Chief Operating Officer Residential.
Many familiar faces gathered at the first drone event, among them the popular coaches from the TV show "The Voice": Indira Levak, Ivan Dečak and Jacques Houdek.
Four unmanned aerial vehicles, piloted by especially trained experts, entertained the crowd on Petar Preradović Square, where a couple of thousand people had gathered. By means of mobile devices, the drones took aerial photos and made video recordings, while HT's ultrafast mobile Internet transferred everything in real time to an LED screen or, respectively, to the 4gdrondan.com web page. This way, visitors were able to share the photos with their friends on social networks, and for those who wanted to have a souvenir photo on paper, HT printed the photos right away.
