Intended for the ICT community of Croatia and the region, the traditional Combis Conference is now opened. This year, the focus is on integration of digital and physical, as well as on creating a successful and sustainable business in times of rapid and constant changes.
Eighth Combis Conference, the central annual event organized by system integrator Combis, was opened on Thursday in Šibenik. With this year's main theme Explore the digital world = Create new business reality, inspired by integration of digital and physical, it is desired to draw attention to the occurrence of the transformation of physical into digital and digital into physical as well, which brings better awareness and greater influence to the customers, and better connectivity with the world in real time to the companies.
"In the digital age, it is essential to ensure simple, short, brief interactions with the customers in which they could convey their wishes in order for us to be able to predict their future needs. It is necessary to go beyond our own boundaries, in the interactive communication with customers in the real world", said Renée Saboti Slovenc, Combis Conference Director.
Talking about Combis Conference, Saboti pointed out that this year's program is divided into five theme sections: Cloud, Security, New Datacenter, Next Generation Technology and Business Solutions, which will certainly encourage the audience to think about the future of their business and how the ICT can help them.
Combis CEO Ivan Gabrić opened Combis Conference and stressed out that ICT is an energetic sector with many opportunities for success, a challenging and an interesting area of business that is changing rapidly and unpredictably.
"I believe the greatest value lies in new ideas and their integration. Integration of industries that have an idea with the IT industry which has a solution. Modern telecommunications and banking have already achieved many positive business developments in the last decade thanks to IT. IT has become a key element for improving business in the real sector as well and increasingly in public administration. Thus, a tangible new value is being created, not only in IT but also in the sector of applying IT solutions. It creates a multiplier effect", said Ivan Gabrić.
During the Conference, Combis' experts for information and communication technologies as well as numerous experts who are users of Combis solutions and partner companies will talk about how they improved their business systems and business processes by applying ICT technologies.
Jens Gerhard Hartmann, Member of the Management Board and Chief Operating Officer Business in Hrvatski Telekom, proudly pointed out that HT is the main partner of the Conference and looked back on the successful business synergy within the HT Group.
"Hrvatski Telekom tries to implement and offer to the market all the latest technological trends, while in the same time developing its own solutions, where the business integration of Hrvatski Telekom and Combis is extremely important. With Combis we combined our best abilities - know-how, technology, people, and as a company that successfully combines digital reality and real events, we can openly express pride to be partner of the 8th Combis Conference and that we can support what is important to us as well, which is a high quality way of doing business in the environment of digital technology", said Hartmann.
Combis Conference lasts for two days, and will be concluded with a panel "What do the biggest and the best say about the present and the future of data storage devices?", a discussion of the world's largest IT companies’ representatives about the newest trends in the development of data storage devices and the technologies that the modern IT must have today.
